Vollebak makes clothing engineered for extreme conditions — built from materials science and worn by explorers and athletes at the edge of human performance. Their store needed to communicate this extraordinary product story while delivering the technical performance to match. The existing store was not fast enough, not immersive enough, and not doing justice to some of the most interesting apparel products in the world.
The Solution
We built Vollebak a Shopify Plus store engineered to match their products' ambition. Performance was treated as a feature — every millisecond of load time optimised, every image delivery refined. Product pages were built as immersive editorial experiences that communicate the science, the materials and the mission behind each garment. Custom Liquid components were developed to surface the technical product data that Vollebak's audience — scientists, athletes, explorers — genuinely wants to read.
