The Challenge
Stephen Webster — one of Britain's most acclaimed jewellers, whose work has been worn by rock stars and royalty — needed a digital presence that matched the craftsmanship and drama of his jewellery. The existing store failed to convey the artistry and story behind the pieces, was not mobile-optimised for the modern luxury buyer, and did not convert in line with the brand's premium positioning.
The Solution
We redesigned Stephen Webster's Shopify Plus store as a luxury digital showcase. Dark, dramatic aesthetics were implemented to reflect the bold, theatrical character of the jewellery. Product pages were rebuilt to function as individual gallery moments — generous imagery, detailed craft descriptions, and social proof from celebrity associations. The mobile experience received particular attention, with a UX designed for the considered, research-heavy purchase journey of luxury jewellery.
