John Hardy — the luxury jewellery brand whose handcrafted Balinese collections are sold globally — needed a digital presence that communicated the extraordinary craft story behind their jewellery. The brand's commitment to sustainable luxury and artisan production was not coming through in their existing store, and the premium price points required a customer experience that built genuine purchase confidence.
The Solution
We rebuilt John Hardy's Shopify Plus store as a craft-first luxury experience. Product pages were redesigned to tell the story of each collection — the Balinese artisans, the traditional techniques, the materials — as the primary narrative that supports the purchase decision. Photography was presented at its full visual impact. The luxury browsing experience was designed for the considered, research-intensive journey of fine jewellery purchase.
