DB Journey — the Norwegian premium bag and travel brand — had a loyal following but a store that was underperforming relative to the quality of their products. Mobile experience was particularly poor given the travel-oriented nature of their audience, and the conversion funnel had clear drop-off points that were costing revenue. The brand deserved a store that converted as well as their products inspired loyalty.
The Solution
We redesigned DB Journey's Shopify Plus store with mobile conversion as the primary success metric. The product page experience was rebuilt to showcase the craftsmanship and functionality of each bag more effectively — with improved photography presentation, feature highlights and social proof integration. The checkout path was streamlined and mobile UX was rebuilt from scratch, resulting in a significantly improved mobile shopping experience.
