Alessi — the legendary Italian design brand with a catalogue spanning decades of iconic product design — needed to move their e-commerce operation to a platform capable of presenting their extraordinary archive with the elegance it deserves. Their existing platform was limiting how they could showcase the design stories behind their products, and was not equipped for the international trading their brand demands.
The Solution
We migrated Alessi to Shopify Plus and built a custom store experience that treats their products as the design artefacts they are. Product pages were designed to surface the designer, the brief, the story — the context that transforms a functional object into a collectible. International trading was configured via Shopify Markets, and performance was optimised to deliver fast, beautiful browsing across their extensive catalogue.
